As a family owned and operated business in the West Chester community, we take great pride and joy in supporting the needs of the local non-profit organizations. Our family is well aware of the struggles and hardships it takes to overcome many of lifes great battles. Our owner and founder, Roy Yelton, still battles CML (leukemia) everyday. His bone marrow transplant took place in January of 2001, and thanks to his wonderful doctors, nurses, and Gods will, he is still in remission and continues to work at our store almost everyday.
Over the years we've been able to support numerous organizations in their charitable endeavors. These organizations, from local churches and schools to the American Cancer Society, provide our community with so many valuable services. One of the greatest things about our growth has been the increasing ability to give back to these organizations and our community. This years most recent endeavor has been in support of the One Way Shelter for children. A non-profit organization to support children of sexual abuse. The Monte Carlo night benefit was a huge success and we look forward to making next years event an even bigger success.
We at Yelton's appreciate all of the support our community has shown us over the years and look forward to touching the lives of those who work and live around us for many more years to come.
