Guide to Women’s Wedding Bands
Guess what? The bling doesn’t end with your engagement ring. In fact, NOW is when the real fun begins. While your partner may have tried to keep the engagement ring a secret, shopping for wedding bands is all about you. So, the question is… Where do you start and what kind should you get? Here at Yelton Fine Jewelers, we specialize in helping women find the perfect band to complement their ring. With decades of experience and the biggest selection of bands in the area, there’s no better spot to look. Plus, I took a little time to write about a few of our favorite options.
So, take a peek below and see which type fits your style. Of course, if you have any questions, give us a call or set up an appointment. I’d be happy to help walk you through our wedding band selection myself. After all, this is one of the most exciting shopping experiences of your life… And if there’s one thing everybody knows about me, it’s that I love a good shopping trip.
Pavé Bands are encrusted with diamonds set closely together into the metal. The scalloped pavé style features cutouts on the sides to create an effect of pure shimmer. They pair best with engagement rings with a pavé band or cushion cut solitaire with a pavé halo setting. This is a beautiful diamond anniversary pavé band from Fana.
Classic Band
If you’re looking for a traditional and timeless look, the classic metal wedding band may be the one for you. It symbolizes devotion for eternity and is one of the most popular choices. This Hearts on Fire Half-Round Band comes in white, yellow, and rose gold.
Eternity Bands feature diamonds of the same size that go around the entire ring. Two common styles include prong setting and channel setting. One of my favorites is the Hearts on Fire Braided Eternity Power Band. It comes in white, yellow, and rose gold to match any engagement ring.
Stackable Bands combine multiple slender rings worn on the same finger. These rings could be part of an interlocking design. They are comfortable to wear and have an eye-catching effect. They may be purchased individually after the ceremony to celebrate milestones such as anniversaries or the birth of children. Take a look at this beautiful stackable Noam Carver Wedding Band:
Anniversary Bands
These are similar to eternity bands and highlight diamonds that go halfway around the ring. This band is excellent for brides who enjoy an eternity band’s timeless look but don’t want the bulkiness of diamonds going in between their fingers. This Simon G wedding band fuses vintage style with everlasting comfort.
His and Hers Matching Wedding Bands
Choosing matching bands signifies unity, strength, and an eternal bond. Shopping together for a matching pair is also a fun way to celebrate your upcoming nuptials.
Engraving
Engraving the inside of the band is a sentimental way to add a personal feel to your wedding band. At Yelton’s, we can engrave your wedding band with your wedding date, special saying, initials, and much more.
